ADDENDUM IV:
EXTERNAL FUND TRANSFERS SERVICE

The External Fund Transfers Service (the “Service”) allows you to move money to/from your designated Provident deposit Account to/from your accounts held at other U.S. financial institutions. When you make or authorize external transfers, or permit another person to make external transfers by giving them (intentionally or unintentionally) access to your Authentication Credentials, you agree to be bound by the Cut-off Times, External Transfer Limits, and other provisions set forth in this Addendum. Additionally, those terms and conditions outlined elsewhere in this Agreement, in the ProvidentConnect Online Banking Addendum, and those that apply to any account you have with us as stated in the applicable Deposit Account Terms and Conditions agreement will apply to your use of the External Fund Transfers Service. If any of the terms between these documents differ from the terms in this Agreement, the Deposit Account Terms and Conditions agreement will control.

Tell us AT ONCE if you believe that any access device issued to you by the Bank has been lost or stolen, or if you believe that an electronic fund transfer has been made without your permission using information from your check, or if you otherwise become aware that there has been an unauthorized transfer of funds from your account. Telephoning us is the best way of keeping your possible losses at a minimum.

You could lose all the money in your account(s), plus your maximum overdraft credit line, if applicable. The “General Liability” section below set forth your liability with respect to unauthorized transfers from your account(s).

If you tell us within two (2) business days after you learn of the loss or theft of your access device, you can lose no more than $50 if someone used your access device without your permission.

If you DO NOT tell us within two (2) business days after you learn of the loss or theft of your access device, and we can prove we could have stopped someone from using your access device without your permission if you had told us, you could lose as much as $500.

Also, if your statement shows transfers that you did not make, including those made by card, code or other means, tell us at once. If you DO NOT tell us within sixty (60) days after the statement was mailed to you, you may not get back any money you lost after the sixty (60) days if we can prove that we could have stopped someone from taking the money if you had told us in time.

You are required to provide the Bank with a written statement in a form acceptable to the Bank regarding any and all claims of unauthorized transactions on your account.

Inbound/Outbound Registration

An inbound fund transfers moves money into an Account at Provident Bank from an account at another U.S. financial institution. An outbound fund transfers moves money from an Account at Provident to an account at another U.S. financial institution.

Account Registration

You will need to register each of your non-Provident accounts that you wish to use for transfers via this Service by accessing the “Manage Transfer Accounts” link in the ProvidentConnect Online Banking “Transfers” tab or through Provident Bank’s Mobile Banking App. You agree to only register accounts for which you have the authority to transfer funds. In addition, the initiation of an external transfer (sometimes referred to as Automated Clearing House “ACH” transactions) to your Provident checking, statement savings, and/or loan account must comply with the applicable provisions of U.S. law.

All accounts registered for transfers to and from Provident Bank as part of this Service must be validated in accordance with our validation procedures, which must be completed prior to your use of the Service. In order to validate each external account you registered, you authorize Provident Bank to make a small (less than $1) deposit to the registered account, followed by a matching withdrawal upon validation. You agree that Provident Bank is not responsible for any overdraft fee, insufficient funds fee, or other fees that occur solely as a result of your failure to make at least $1 available for the validation process. Validation instructions are automatically made available to you during the account registration process. Accounts for loan payments only will not need to complete the validation process.

Cut-Off Times

The Cut-off Times for initiating external fund transfers will be 4:00 P.M. Eastern Time (ET). Any transfer request made after the Cut-off Time will be initiated the next Business Day. Outbound funds transfers will be debited from your Provident account on the Business Day following the day you initiate the transfer provided you have met the Cut-off Time. Inbound funds transfers to deposit and consumer purpose loan accounts at Provident Bank will be credited to your account on the Business Day following the day you initiate the transfer and funds will be available for withdrawal or other debit activity on the third Business Day after the transfer date. In the case of a future dated or recurring transfer, these Cut-off Times will be applicable to the Business Day following the scheduled date of the transfer.

Future dated and recurring transfers can be canceled by the Cut-off Time on the day prior to the scheduled transfer date. If the transfer status is “In Process”, “Pending”, or “Processed”, you cannot cancel the transfer.

Funds requested to be transferred will be credited/debited to/from the non-Provident account according to the availability and transaction processing schedule of the financial institution where the account is held. Once a transfer is made to another financial institution, Provident will have no further responsibility or liability for the deposit or withdrawal of the funds provided that the transfer is completed in accordance with your instructions.

Loan Payments
Loan payments to your Provident consumer-purpose loan (e.g. mortgage, line of credit) can be made via a transfer(s) from your deposit account at another financial institution (e.g. checking, statement savings) for regular payments and additional principal payments. Conduct the loan payment through the “Move Money” tab and accessing the “External Loan Pay” menu in ProvidentConnect Online Banking.

Loan payoffs CANNOT be made thru ProvidentConnect Online Banking, as the amount needed to payoff and satisfy your loan obligation will differ from any previously disclosed amount. Please contact our Customer Contact Center (see “How To Contact Us”) for more information on loan payoffs.

Fees For Returned Items
No fees are currently charged for use of this Service. Fees may be charged for any returned item in accordance with our applicable service fee in effect at the time an item is returned and subject to change from time-to-time at our sole discretion.

External Fund Transfer Limits
External fund transfers are subject to the following limits:

i. Each fund transfer transaction cannot exceed $5,000 per Business Day.

ii. Cumulative transactions per Business Day cannot exceed $10,000.

iii. Cumulative transactions per 28 Business Days cannot exceed $100,000.

The amount of any fund transfer initiated on a day that is not a Business Day will be added to the applicable limit for the next Business Day. This transaction limitation does not affect fund transfers to or between your Provident accounts.
