For the second consecutive year, Provident Bank employees supported Meals on Wheels of Northampton County’s “Ani-Meals.” Bank volunteers across Pennsylvania and New Jersey donated more than 1,000 toys and treats for dogs, cats and birds, which were then sorted and packaged into more than 200 holiday gift bags.

“Ani-Meals” was established in 2006 to provide Meals On Wheels clients with pet food for dogs, cats, birds, and fish.  In addition to pet food, the service also provides care items such as flea collars, grooming supplies, dog licenses and food bowls.

Provident Bank is recognized for “Commitment You Can Count On,” and provides the most convenient and modern community banking services. For more information about Provident Bank, visit www.provident.bank or join the conversations on Facebook (ProvidentBank) and Twitter (@ProvidentBank).

About Meals on Wheels

Through the dedicated effort of 38 staff, 1100 volunteers and hundreds of generous benefactors, Meals On Wheels (http://www.mealsonwheelspa.org/) of Northampton County provides nutritious meals for the elderly, disabled, and individuals who have been discharged from hospitals and rehabilitation centers. While our primary focus is on the unique nutritional needs of older and disabled adults, we also offer meal service to healthy active adults, child care centers and adult day centers.  To this end, we have made a commitment to promote healthy living through the delivery of nutrition services.   We use and regard nutrition as a preventative health measure, especially among adults who are aging.
