Members of Girl Scout Troop # 5225 visit Provident Bank’s Dumont branch.

Provident Bank recently hosted members of Girl Scout Troop # 5225 of Dumont, NJ, who received a lesson in banking. Izabela Wdowiak, Banking Center Manager, explained the difference between checking and savings accounts, as well as which accounts earn interest and how interest is calculated. The Girl Scouts also learned how to write a check and balance a checkbook.
