    • Establish and maintain a ProvidentConnect Online Banking relationship
    • Elect to receive your periodic account statements via ProvidentConnect Online Banking

1Provident $mart CheckingSM

2An interest rate of 1.98% with an Annual Percentage Yield (APY) of 2.00% will be paid only for that portion of your daily balance that is $15,000 or less. An interest rate of 1.98% with an APY of 2.00% will be paid only for that portion of your daily balance that is more than $15,000, but less than or equal to $25,000. APY is subject to change at any time without notice. An interest rate of 0.10% with an APY of 0.10% will be paid only for that portion of your daily balance that is greater than $25,000. The interest rates and APYs will be paid provided that the Provident $mart CheckingSM qualification requirements are met in the corresponding statement period. If you do not meet the qualification requirements for a statement period, your account will still function as a free checking account earning 0.05% APY; however, it will not receive ATM fee refunds for that statement period. APY is in effect as of 5/1/2026. APYs are variable and may change at any time after the account is opened. No minimum account balance required, however, you must deposit a minimum of $50 to open this account. Withdrawal/transfer restrictions apply; ask for details. 3All nationwide ATM fees will be refunded provided qualification requirements are met. All qualifying transactions must post and clear your account within one (1) statement period. Account holder/owner must sign up for and maintain a free ProvidentConnect Online Banking relationship.

4To qualify for Provident $mart CheckingSM interest rates and annual percentage yields, as well as domestic ATM fee/surcharge refunds, you must fulfill the following qualification requirements: conduct ten (10) signature-based or Tap to Pay point-of-sale purchases using your Provident Debit Mastercard – these purchase transactions must post and clear your account within one (1) statement period; have one (1) direct deposit or one (1) automatic debit per statement period posted to and cleared through your account; establish and maintain a ProvidentConnect Online Banking relationship through which your account statement will be delivered/available; and elect to receive your periodic account statements electronically via ProvidentConnect Online Banking. Account qualification requirements must be maintained starting with the 3rd statement period following account opening. If you don’t meet the account qualification requirements for any statement period starting with the 3rd statement period following account opening, your account will still function as a free checking account earning 0.05% APY; however, it will not receive ATM fee refunds for that statement period. Prior to the 3rd statement period following account opening, account holders will receive higher APYs and domestic ATM fee/surcharge refunds without being required to meet account qualification requirements. You must conduct at least ten (10) signature-based or Tap to Pay POS purchases which post and clear your account within one (1) statement period. You must receive at least one (1) ACH direct deposit or process at least one (1) automatic debit which posts and clears your account within one (1) statement period.
