Join us as we recognize Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, on January 17, 2022. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was the recipient of the 1964 Nobel Peace Prize and an activist for nonviolent social change. King was the first modern private citizen to be honored with a federal holiday. It took 15 years of fighting for MLK Day to be declared a national holiday.
